Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Tucker Adams / Adams Technologies LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Tag-Me mobile app (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to this Policy.
If you have questions, contact us at tucker.a.adams@gmail.com.
1. Information We Collect
We collect only what we need to run the App.
Account information. When you sign in with Sign in with Apple or Google, we receive a unique account identifier and your email address. If you create an account with an email address and password, we store your email address and a securely hashed form of your password, and we send a one-time verification code to that address to confirm it (and to reset your password if you ask). You then choose a username and display name, and may add a profile photo.
Content you create. Photos you post, captions you write, comments you leave on posts, the tags you make (i.e., which user you tag in a post), and the messages you send in group chats and direct messages. If you create or manage a group, we store the group's name and avatar.
Social graph. Your friends, friend requests, the groups you belong to, and the group invitations you send or receive.
Push notification token. If you enable notifications, we store your device's Apple Push Notification service (APNs) token so we can notify you about activity in the App — when it's your turn, a new group or direct message, a friend request, or a group invitation. You can turn notifications off in your device settings at any time, and mute individual chats in the App.
Moderation information. If you report content or block another user, we store that report or block (including who reported what, and when).
Basic technical information. Standard information necessary to operate the App, such as your authenticated session.
We do not collect your device's contacts/address book or your location, we do not use advertising identifiers, and we do not include analytics-tracking SDKs. The App does show ads; what the advertising SDK receives is described under Advertising in Section 3.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information above to:
- Create and secure your account and authenticate you;
- Provide the core features of the App (posting photos, tagging, friends, groups, group chat, direct messages, and turn-based play);
- Send push notifications you've enabled (e.g., when it's your turn or you receive a message);
- Keep the App safe — review reports, enforce blocks, and remove content or accounts that violate our rules;
- Comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
3. How Information Is Shared
With other users. Content you create is visible to other users according to the App's sharing rules — for example, members of a group you post or chat in, your friends, the other participant in a direct message, or anyone where a group is public. Blocking a user hides your content from them and theirs from you.
With service providers. We share information with providers that operate the App on our behalf:
- Apple and Google — for sign-in (authentication);
- Supabase — for database, file storage, authentication (including email/password accounts), and backend hosting of your account and content;
- Our email delivery provider — to send account verification and password-reset codes to the email address you signed up with;
- Apple Push Notification service (APNs) — to deliver notifications.
These providers process information only to provide their services to us.
For legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, the public, or us.
Advertising. The App shows ads served by Google AdMob. The ads we show are non-personalized: they are not based on your interests, your identity, or a profile of you, and the App does not use Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA) or ask to track you. To deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud, and limit how often you see the same ad, Google's advertising SDK automatically receives certain information from your device, including your IP address, device and app information (such as device model, operating system, and language), and ad interaction data (such as which ads were shown, viewed, or tapped). Google processes this information under its own privacy policy — see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. Depending on your region (for example, the EEA or UK), you may be shown a consent choice before ads are displayed; you can change that choice at any time from the consent prompt's options.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
We keep your information for as long as your account is active.
Deleting your account. You can permanently delete your account at any time in the App (Profile → Settings → Delete Account). Deletion is permanent and irreversible: it removes your profile, posts, tags, comments, messages, friends, group memberships, and device tokens. Groups you own are transferred to another member where possible. Note that content others created may still reference past interactions, and we may retain limited records of abuse reports for safety, legal, and fraud-prevention purposes even after account deletion.
5. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise the most important of these — deletion — directly in the App. For other requests, contact us at tucker.a.adams@gmail.com.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or California, additional rights may apply under the GDPR/UK GDPR or the CCPA/CPRA.
6. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us at tucker.a.adams@gmail.com and we will delete it.
7. Security
We protect your information using industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and access controls on stored data and images. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
8. International Users
We and our service providers may process and store information in the United States. By using the App, you understand your information may be transferred to and processed in countries that may have different data- protection laws than your own.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Effective date" above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
